Our 5th attendance at the annual Blue Light Innovation conference in London was a success. Our break out session was well attended with over 60 delegates hearing my presentation on ‘An evidence-based approach to right first time change’ – many thanks to all who attended and to the organisers for another well-run event.
A new feature of this year’s presentation was our HARM tool which has relevance to both Fire and Rescue and Police clients who wish to allocate resources on the basis of Harm and Risk. It was helpful that in his talk earlier in the morning, the Policing and Fire minister, Nick Hurd, cited the importance of mapping harm and the work being done in Hampshire to map vulnerability with data sourced from multiple agencies. Using data from multiple sources and aggregating it to produce ‘risk scores’ is a key feature of HARM which has been developed by Process Evolution in conjunction with Hertfordshire Constabulary.
