Police Special Interest Group taking place 1st May

The Police Special Interest Group will take place on 1st May, and this year it will be hosted by Gwent Police at their headquarters.  The event is a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge on how different forces are applying the Process Evolution toolkit to their problems and meet other like-minded individuals.

The wide-ranging agenda provides an opportunity to understand the areas in which Forces are working while also providing case studies on the application of tools to real-world problems.

  • In the morning presentations will include a session from Dyfed Powys on the effect of rurality on modelling approaches; South Wales Police discussing the successes they have had in obtaining ‘better data’.
  • The afternoon session will kick off with ACADEMI Wales presenting on understanding public sector demand, followed by sessions from Process Evolution around commonality within modelling and benchmarking. As is only customary the hosts, Gwent Police will get the final say as they present on the work they have been doing with Workload Profiler Sim.
