Frequently Asked Questions
What do you mean by 'simulation'?
Simulation involves building a computer model that accurately mimics the behaviour of a real business process. Its purpose is to enable ‘what-if?’ testing of change prior to implementation, reducing the risk of unforeseen consequences and enabling the ‘best’ option to be selected. Simulation is widely used across industry, commerce and the service sector. Our consultants are from a simulation background and have many years experience of applying it successfully. We’ve developed a suite of simulation-based products covering core processes across the emergency services, including incident response, call handling, custody and investigation. These are configurable through a user-friendly interface, removing the need for specialist skills to use them.
